Art and Event Coordinator (part-time)
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Tamaqua Community Arts Center and adherence to the mission of providing affordable access to the arts through programs and artistic works produced to enhance the Tamaqua community as part of a comprehensive sustainable community development strategy. This position advances the mission of the art center to provide sustainable inclusive educational opportunities and to be a safe place to participate, appreciate, create and learn about the performing and fine arts.
Entertainment Coordinator (part time)
Responsible for the day to day coordination of programs, concerts, events, and shows at/for the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, Hope & Coffee, and the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership. Responsible for booking of musical, comedy, and other entertainment as well as theater shows. Responsible for ensuring volunteers and staff are trained to operate sound/light boards for events. Responsible for the collection of materials to market and promote events including typing and distribution of media releases and provides information for website and Facebook event entry. Conducts tours in effort to market spaces as training locations and for rental for private events. Attends meetings with Center State Theater, Arts Center Volunteers. Works closely with Art & Event Coordinator and Hope & Coffee Manager.
Administrative Assistant (part time)
Responsible for the day to day administrative, financial record keeping and organizational record keeping of the organization, including, filing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, maintenance of board, committee & volunteer lists, maintenance of complete employee files, financial reporting, preparation of monthly treasurer’s report, project P&L statements, submission, donor database management, grant contract file management, W9/W2/W4 management, and the recording & distribution of Board of Director Meeting Minutes.
